Position
Summary:
This position supports the work of the Office of the Registrar to create and maintain permanent records of the educational experiences and attainment of the students of the University through management, analysis, and reporting of student data.
This includes administration of related software tools.
General Duties:
Responsible for monitoring, updating, and maintaining accurate student data in the student information system (SIS) and related software tools.
Collaborates with other University departments to maintain the Common Data Set and support institutional analytics and reporting.
Develops standard and ad hoc student data reports to support functions across the University.
Coordinates completion of surveys and fulfills other internal and external information requests in compliance with FERPA.
Manages submission schedule and reporting to the National Student Clearinghouse.
Serves as functional administrator for related software tools.
Uses problem-solving skills and institutional knowledge to anticipate, prevent, and/or solve issues for faculty, students and administration.
Participates in and contributes to process improvement initiatives in the Registrar's Office and across the institution.
Responsible for the confidential management of student academic records in accordance with policies and procedures of the Office of the Registrar and the University.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in related area Demonstrated proficiency in data management and reporting Knowledge of, or ability to learn, interpret and apply rules, regulations, and laws pertaining to student enrollment records, including accreditation and certification requirements and standards Proficiency in use of software applications including Microsoft applications, databases, spreadsheets and word processing required Skill in integrating multiple resources into resolving institutional needs Ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures Ability to communicate professionally with a diverse constituency Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information Understanding of customer service principles and generational service needs Preferences:
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod background.
Higher Education administration experience, with an understanding of registrar duties.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
